Reader Video: Road Trip To Small Areas In Eastern OR/WA

January 12, 2000/1 Comment/in Reader Submitted Videos/by seniorsskiing

From Emilio Trampuz:

“It’s a video record of two senior ski buddies (Kurt Wilke and Emilio Trampuz) from Portland, Oregon, on a road trip to explore some smaller, less well known ski areas in eastern Oregon and Washington. We found fresh powder and sunshine. Each ski area had a different “feel”.  Bluewood, WA, had the best powder.  Ferguson Ridge, OR, had both powder and sunshine, a relaxed atmosphere and $20 lift tickets, the best deal in the US. Spout Springs was closed due to a safety concern. Dixie Summit is the smallest ski area in Oregon, with a lift ticket at only $5.”
