Just returned from a few days at my condo at Okemo Mountain, which I’ve owned since 1985. The Mueller family, which owned Okemo since the early 80’s, recently sold the mountain. When I went to pick up my season pass, I was told this is the last year they will offer reduced prices for senior and super senior season passes. In the future all season passes will be priced the same. I am very disappointed. I’m 72 years old and plan to ski for another 5-10 years. It seems like the new owners are not senior friendly. Okemo has been a senior friendly/ family friendly resort since 1985 when I started to ski there. It’s a shame that the new owners seem to be moving away from the old tradition.
