After several decades working in North Conway, N.H., and Boston, Mass., in a variety of jobs, which included newspaper writer, event publicist, communications specialist, and marketing director, Karen Cummings is now “retired” and living close to her family in Maine. She learned to ski at age 25 at Cranmore and still enjoys both downhill and cross-country skiing and writing about it here and there as well as traveling as often as she can with family and friends.
