SeniorsSkiing.com is pleased to provide subscribers with our annual listing of North American ski areas providing older skiers with free or deeply discounted season passes and/or lift tickets and the age to qualify. We believe these incentives are a positive for the snow sports industry and appreciate all the ski areas listed below. We were disappointed to see a couple big resorts eliminate their senior discounts. Click here for article

Our general criteria for “deeply discounted” were passes available for under $50.  Many areas offer the lowest passes in the spring and increase the cost as the season approaches. Some passes may no longer be available at super low prices or not available to purchase again until the spring.

While not intentional, this list may contain incorrect or out of date information.  Ski areas may discontinue discounts or change prices at any time, so please defer to the ski areas posted pricing.  We encourage readers to email corrections subscriptions@seniorsskiingmedia.com.

I think that Sugar Mtn and Cataloochie in North Carolina are both free to skiers 70 and above although Sugar has a $40 or $45 fee to create the season pass. I also believe Hatley Point is free from Monday thru Friday, non-holidays for skiers over 70.

I think White Pass, WA has about the best deal in skiing and want to thank them. $25 for a season pass. 70+, but you’ll have to check to be sure.
Also, just got back from Hokkaido, about $40/day for seniors (+65). Food was inexpensive.

Loveland ski area in CO has a senior season pass at $199 year end (currently $219) that provides three free tickets at many areas. A great deal depending on where you live.
